About the designer

After years of trying to escape fashion design, I finally listened to my calling and launched 9th Parish. My diverse background in retail, law, and customer service deeply shaped my approach to building this business, teaching me how to merge rigorous operational standards with deeply human connections. Today, I use that foundation to champion a brand that prioritizes exceptional design and precision fit for unique bodies, with a primary focus on muscular and athletic physiques.

Rooted in my Jamaican heritage, 9th Parish draws on a spirit of resilience and artistry to create one-of-a-kind garments inspired by both personal history and our collective memory. As a designer with a degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising from SF State and advanced training from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, my expertise is anchored in an elevated focus on haute couture techniques. To me, fit is not merely technical—it is ceremonial. It is how I honor your form and bring intention to every seam, using old-world craftsmanship to serve modern, athletic frames.

At 9th Parish, true luxury lies outside mass production. Our foundation rests on three unyielding pillars: heritage, innovation, and sustainability. We believe in pushing the boundaries of traditional design by merging low-waste, small-batch garment production with agile tech exploration, like light manufacturing and experimental 3D printing. Every pin placed, every note taken, and every sustainable material sourced brings us one step closer to a garment that is not only made for you, but becomes a part of you.

Heritage

Rooted in Nastacia's Jamaican heritage, 9th Parish draws on a spirit of resilience and artistry to create one-of-a-kind garments inspired by both personal history and our collective memory.

Innovation

At 9th Parish, fit is not merely technical — it is ceremonial. It is how we honor your form and bring intention to every seam. Every pin placed, every note taken, brings us one step closer to a garment that is not only made for you, but becomes part of you.

Sustainability

True luxury lies outside mass production. Our garments are low-waste, made by prioritizing local labor and thoughtfully sourced high-end materials to produce one-of-a-kind garments in small batch runs.
